Martelange is a municipality located in the Belgian province of Luxembourg. On January 1, 2006 Martelange had a total population of 1,567. The total area is 29.67 km² which gives a population density of 53 inhabitants per km². In the village the national road N4 (Brussels - Arlon) forms the border with Luxembourg for about 1.8 km. Due to the lower fuel taxes in Luxembourg, this stretch is lined with filling stations on the eastern, Luxembourgish side.
