Marquis Cooper (b. March 11, 1982 in Mesa, Arizona) is a linebacker for the Seattle Seahawks. He was originally drafted by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the 3rd round 79th overall of the 2004 NFL Draft. He was released on September 2 and signed with the Vikings on September 5, who also released him on October 30, 2006. On October 31, 2006 the Steelers claimed him off waivers and released him on December 5, 2006. On December 12, 2006 he signed with the Seahawks.
