Marques Lamont Douglas (born on March 5, 1977 in Greensboro, North Carolina) is a player in the NFL. He plays the defensive end position. He went to Howard University. He was signed as an undrafted free agent by the Baltimore Ravens in 1999. He then played for the New Orleans Saints in 2000. He then played for the Ravens in 2001. He was then signed as an unrestricted free agent by the San Francisco 49ers in 2005. He was brought in by Mike Nolan to help the 49ers adjust into the 3-4 defensive scheme.
Douglas is quick and athletic. He has decent size and upper body strength. He is a good competitor who hustles.
