Marmorata (elm cultivar)

The cultivar Marmorata was identified by Dieck, Zöschen, Germany in Haupt-Cat. 1885 as U. campestris marmorata. Described as beautifully variegated with white, the original tree in Destedter Park was said to have produced massive variegated suckers. Considered "probably U. carpinifolia" (: minor) by Green (1964).
