[edit] Founded
Fermentation, Marlwood School sixth form's online student magazine, written by the sixth form students for the sixth form students, was founded by Michael Sanders in 2003, with the help of a number of other students in the sixth-form, such as Tim Sculthorpe, Kelly O'Neill, Aidan Hopwood, Steve Winter and Dan Shaw. Rumours from the year group are that Michael Sanders suffered from Body Odour. It is reported that this terrible stench caused him to become an outcast and this ultimately plunged the popularity of fermentation, with less than 4% of the year regularly visiting the intranet page. After endless debates from Michael to keep the intranet page going it was eventually decided (by other students) that he was just a brown nose and therefore its relevance was that of zero.
