Markus Prock (born 22nd June 1964) is an Austrian Luger and Olympic medallist.
Between 1981 and 2002, Prock won the Lugeing World Cup ten times, and was twice World Champion, the first in 1987 at age 22. However, in the Olympic Games he was unable to win gold, twice taking silver behind his great rival Georg Hackl of Germany.
As of 2007, he was the sports director of the Tyrolean luge association [1].
He is also the manager of his nephew, Gregor Schlierenzauer, who is second in the 2006-07 Ski jumping World Cup entering the FIS Nordic World Ski Championships 2007 in Sapporo, Japan.
