Marko Jesic

Marko Jesic (Born 1989) is an Australian football (soccer) striker who is currently signed to Australian A-League team Newcastle United Jets.

Jesic attended Westfield Sports High School in Sydney and the NSW Institute of Sport before attending the Australian Institute of Sport in Canberra on a football scholarship. He signed his first professional contract in January 2007, keeping him at the Jets until May 2008.

He has represented Australia at Under-17 and Under-20 level.
