Markgröningen is a town in the district of Ludwigsburg, Baden-Württemberg, Germany. It is situated about 16 km northwest of Stuttgart, and 8 km west of Ludwigsburg.

Markgröningen was purchased by count Ulrich III and incorporated into the county of Württemberg in 1336.
