Dr. Frigo is Director of The Center for Strategy, Execution, and Valuation in the Kellstadt Graduate School of Business at DePaul and Eichenbaum Foundation Distinguished Professor of Strategy and Leadership in the School of Accountancy at DePaul University. He is a leading expert in strategy and execution at high performance companies, strategic performance measurement systems and strategic valuation.

His professional career has included corporate strategic planning, mergers and acquisitions, and management consulting in strategic services at KPMG. In the area of strategic valuation, Dr. Frigo has served as a valuation expert for organizations ranging from privately-held companies to larger organizations such as the Chicago Board of Trade.

The author of five books and over 60 articles, his work is published in leading business journals including Harvard Business Review. He is the editor of the Strategic Management section of Strategy Finance and lecturers frequently at universities and conferences in Europe. He is the co-creator of the Return Driven Strategy framework (with Joel Litman) which describes the strategic activities of high performance companies. His current research and consulting focus on: Strategy and Corporate Governance at High Performance Companies; Linking Strategy with Performance Measures, Executive Compensation at High Performance Companies and Strategic Audits for Enterprise Risk Management.

He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Accountancy from the University of Illinois, an MBA degree from Northern Illinois University and completed postgraduate studies in the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University. He is a CPA in the State of Illinois and a Certified Management Accountant. Dr. Frigo received his Ph.D. in Economics and Econometrics.

Recognized as a dynamic speaker, Dr. Frigo is the recipient of the Economos Award for outstanding teaching in the Kellstadt Graduate School of Business, the University Excellence in Teaching Award, the Illinois CPA Society Educator of the Year Award and he was recently profiled in Crain's Chicago Business in an article entitled "Faculty All Stars" about top B-school professors in the Chicago area.

Dr. Frigo serves as an advisor to executive teams and boards of directors.

DePaul University Excellence in Teaching Award The award recognizes significant achievement in teaching and commitment to the teaching mission that can serve as University models. The maximum number of awards made each year is as follows: up to three in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences; up to two in the College of Commerce (including the School of Accountancy); and up to one each in the School for Computer Science, the School of Education, the College of Law, the School of Music, the School for New Learning and the Theatre School.
