Mark Wright (British footballer)
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Mark Wright [1] was born 24th February 1982 in Wolverhampton. He is a professional footballer currently contracted to Walsall FC.
Mark is a product of the club's long-standing successful youth policy, and aside from a short spell at Nuneaton Borough for some first class match experience, he's plied his trade steadily at Bescot with Walsall.
Mark's first appearance in a Walsall shirt came as a late substitute in the 1-1 draw at West Ham in the 2000/01 league cup second round. Despite a further handful of substitute appearances he didn't make the side regularly, and the 2001/2002 season saw him spend some time at Nuneaton. Mark was judged ready for stand-in starting action in 2002, and finally cemented his place in the team by the beginning of 2004.
Mark is the son of Former Walsall striker Evran Wright.
