[edit] Biography

Mark Allen Slaughter was born in Las Vegas, Nevada. When he was 11 years old, he started in music. After learning the basics, he taught himself the rest. He plays the guitar and keyboards. When he was in school, Mark had a vocal coach that taught him the proper breathing techniques and how to sing correctly.

He was in several bands like Xcursion, Roz Parade and Vinnie Vincent Invasion, before starting Slaughter in 1988, with Dana Strum. He left the band Vinnie Vincent Invasion with Dana Strum, over differences with mastermind Vincent (former KISS guitarist).

Mark currently lives in Nashville, Tennessee with his wife and two sons, Brandon and Elijah.
