Mark Newby-Robson

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Mark Newby-Robson (Mark de Sade) is a classical keyboard player, composer and writer from Suffolk, England.

Mark has been a guest keyboardist in Suffolk-based black metal band Cradle of Filth whilst the band were touring in 1999, and after having former keyboardist, Lecter, leave the band. Mark had rejoined Cradle of Filth in 2006 as once again, a guest musician playing on the album along with two other keyboard players, including Rosie Smith. During Mark's time in Cradle of Filth, he was easily distinguished as wearing a horror-style mask, covering half of his face which showed bars where the mouth of the mask was.

He has worked at West Suffolk College, Bury St Edmunds, as a teacher of music technology and a studio tech.

Now having left WSC, he is rumoured to be going back to tour with Cradle of Filth.
