Mark Kirchner (born April 4, 1970 in Neuhaus, Thuringia) is a German former biathlete. He was the first German to become Olympic champion in 1992 in the 10 km race in Albertville. He followed that up by taking silver in the 20 km and gold in the relay. at the Olympics 1994 in Lillehammer two years later he was a part of the winning german relay team. In addition did Kirchner became World Champion: Many times
