[edit] Character History
Headstrong and articulate, Mark already ruffled feathers during his short time in the Village. He spoke his mind, took no prisoners, and expected others to treat him the same way. Having shown up without warning on his ex-girlfriend Jessica Harris's doorstep, Mark did his best to try and build bridges with his ex, to the extent of switching courses at Hollyoaks Ccmmunity College to be with her. When he discovered he had a rival for Jessica's affections in Gilly Roach, Jessica had to admit that she was seeing them both.
Eventually, after a lot of squabbling between Mark and Gilly, Jessica dumped them both. Although gutted that he had broken up with his teenage sweetheart, he was on the verge of giving up his course for good and moving away. After a few wise words from Olivia Johnson, Mark decided he was going to move on but not throw away his future, and moved out to get away from Jessica.
