Mark Everett (actor)

Mark Everett, born Manuel Benitez, 28 September 1969, but is also known as "Mike Evers" & "Manuel Velasco" is a former child actor in Hollywood films who achieved recent infamy for being wanted for questioning by the police in the murder of his wife in 2004.
He was only nine years old when he began his acting career. He was fairly successful, starring in commercials, TV shows and movies. His roles included parts in Pee Wee's Big Adventure and Stand and Deliver. He also appeared in the TV shows, Galactica 1980 and Highway to Heaven.
In 1996, aged 26, Everett hadn't done any major acting work for eight years when he met Stephanie Spears. The two moved in together and had one child, Benjamin. Everett never told Spears, her family, or anyone else about his former days as a child star. Police report that he was also hiding the fact he was now a drug dealer. While Stephanie was excelling in college and winning scholarships, police report that Everett became more and more involved in the selling of marijuana.
His wife eventually found out about this and decided to end the marriage. On the night of 20 June 2004—Father's Day, while she was asleep, Everett tried to leave with their son. She woke up and tried to stop him. Everett then allegedly picked up his dumbbell and beat her numerous times, killing her in front of their child.
Everett was last reported to be 'on the run' with his son. His story was featured on the US TV documentary series, America's Most Wanted (AMW)in 2004. According to AMW, he should not be too hard to spot. He has a small weight problem stemming from his love of chocolate cupcakes and prefers plain hamburgers (just meat and bun). He is also of Hispanic/Latin descent and speaks fluent Spanish.He also speaks German, French, and Cantonese. Because of his language fluency, he could be hiding anywhere in the world, especially where these languages are spoken. He is currently on the run with his son Benjamin and his mother Elizabeth Velasco.
