Mark Dindal

Mark Dindal (born in Columbus, Ohio) is an American special effects animator and film director. Dindal was head of special effects on Disney's The Little Mermaid.

He went on to direct Turner's Cats Don't Dance, and Disney's The Emperor's New Groove and Chicken Little.

He has been nominated for three Annie awards: one for directing The Emperor's New Groove, one for writing it, and one for Directing Cats Don't Dance.

In March of 2006, Mark left Disney to pursue his own projects, expressing an interest in a film combining live action with animation.
