Mark Brooks (born April 12, 1973) is a comic book artist from Lilburn, Georgia who is currently signed to an exclusive contract with Marvel comics. He is an alumnus of the Savannah College of Art and Design and is known for his manga-influenced style and incredible detail in drawing backgrounds and scenery.

Brooks is well-known for his stints on Cable & Deadpool and Marvel Age. He gained critical acclaim[citation needed] for his cover art on the Spider-Man offshoot Araña and later worked on The Amazing Spider-Man, Ultimate Spider-Man Annual #1 and 2, and New X-Men.

He is also an active member of deviantART, as well as a fan-created Yahoo group that bears his name.

Brooks is often compared with fellow comic book artist Joe Madureira due to their stylized characters, and obvious Japanese animation influences.[citation needed]
