Maritonic knight

Maritonic Knights are a fictional religious order on the island of Mir in three classic novels by Jeremy C. Schwendiman: The Battle of Otok, The Oranic Regime, and Redeeming Mir.
They study and train for battle in an underground base just outside of Mir's capital city, Mirgrad. During the Battle of Otok, many of the knights were killed. Later, the order was betrayed by one of its own members, General Blain. However, Aleric brought them back to glory in the end.
Maritonic is a combination of "Marines" and "Teutonic."
