Marit Paulsen

Marit Eli Paulsen (born 24 November 1939 in Oslo) is a Swedish politician, and a former Member of the European Parliament for the Liberal People's Party 1999-2004. She is a well-known figure in the Swedish public debate, and was an avid proponent of Swedish membership in the European Union during the EU membership referendum campaign in 1994. In 1998 she joined the Liberal People's Party, and currently (as of 2005) she is a member of the party board.
