Mario Regueiro, full name Mario Ignacio Regueiro Pintos, (born 14 September 1978 in Montevideo), is a Uruguayan footballer playing for La Liga side Valencia. Regueiro plays mainly as a left winger. However the versatile player is capable of playing as a left fullback, striker, playmaker and also right winger. Apart from his versatility Regueiro is known for his lightning quick pace, acceleration and strength.
Having spent five seasons with Racing Santander, Regueiro was transferred to Valencia in the summer of 2005 for €1.2 million.
He has made occasional appearances for the Uruguay national team, including a friendly against England at Anfield, Liverpool, earlier this year.
He obtained a Spanish passport in June 2006.
