Marinablue
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
MarinaBlue is a skyscraper in Miami, Florida. Built by Hyperion Development, creators of another building named BLUE further uptown, the building is currently still under construction. MarinaBlue is "topped off," meaning that the final height of the building has been reached. Located in northeastern downtown, it is part of the current development boom in Miami. The building is 615 ft (187 m) tall, and contains 57 floors. The building is almost all residential, with some retail and office space on the lower floors. It makes up part of the Biscayne Wall, a series of newly built skyscrapers(and some that are still under construction) along the western side of Biscayne Boulevard north of the Central Business District. The building is expected to open in the summer of 2007. It is across the street from the American Airlines Arena. The building is currently the fourth tallest in Miami which has reached its full height. Its high ranking will be short-lived, however, as even taller buildings are currently being built around the tower.
