Marien Tailhandier

Marien Tailhandier, (b 1665d 1738) (or 1739), was a soldier-surgeon after his arrival in Canada in 1685. More importantly, he was a seigneurial notary. In 1702 he beame a royal notary and a clerk of court. Tailhandier also was a judge in the seigneurial court of Boucherville. He was a significant figure in the seigneurial system of the time.
