Marie Ryan (August 16, 1905 – October 13, 2005), best known as Marie Lord, was born Marie L. de Narde in St. Louis, Missouri to French parents.

She studied fashion and art in Paris and later moved to New York to pursue a career as a fashion designer. She met Jack Lord in New York, who was a fine arts major at NYU on a football scholarship. Marie soon left her career to support Jack in becoming an actor.

Jack Lord achieved international fame as the detective in the TV series Hawaii Five-O largely through her dedicated support.

She died of natural causes at age 100 in 2005.
