Mariano Piña Olaya

Mariano Piña Olaya (Champusco, Puebla, March 29, 1933). He studied the law in the National Autonomous University of Mexico. Professor of the Cátedra Derecho del Trabajo in the UNAM, was a Civilian Judge in the D.F. and President of the Meeting of Conciliation and Arbitration of the D.F.
Member of the Institutional Revolutionary Party, was Federal Deputy in the LII Legislature from 1982 to 1985, in the which occupied the charge of President of the Great Commission and therefore who went placed the Presidential Band then President of the Republic, Miguel de la Madrid.
Governor of the State of Puebla from 1987 to 1993. General director of Company of Light and Force and Subcoordinador of Public Security in the six-year period of the President Carlos Salinas de Gortari.
