Marian Cisar

Marian Cisar (born February 25, 1978 in Bratislava, Czechoslovakia) is a Slovak professional ice hockey player currently playing for the Hannover Scorpions of the Deutsche Eishockey League. He has also played for the Nashville Predators of the National Hockey League, playing 73 regular season games for them, scoring 30 points (13 goals and 17 assists). Cisar is still under contract with the Predators, but he has played in Europe since 2002. He was drafted 37th overall by the Los Angeles Kings in the 1996 NHL Entry Draft, but was traded to Nashville without playing a game for the Kings. He has had his fair share of injuries during his career, in 2001, he suffered a concussion which ended his season after just 12 games and he missed the entire 2005-06 season due to injury.
