Maria Schrader

Maria Schrader (b. September 27, 1965) is a German actress.
She was born in Hanover and studied at the Max-Reinhardt-Seminar in Vienna.
Maria Schrader was well known from her first film, the acclaimed Liebesleben ("Love life"). She also wrote it, acted in it, and produced it. She has also written other films: RobbyKallePaul; I was on Mars; Stille Nacht and Meschugge. She co-directed I was on Mars with Dani Levy, to whom she has also been married since 1999. Schrader has one child with director Rainer Kaufmann, a daugher named Felice, who is seen in the film Aimée & Jaguar.
She was part of the jury at the Berlin International Film Festival in 2000.
