Margot Bryant

Margot Bryant (born 1897 in Kingston upon Hull; died January 1, 1988 in Manchester) was a British actress.
Her most notable role was of timid Minnie Caldwell on the soap opera Coronation Street, a role she played from 1960 to 1976. Bryant suffered severe memory loss in 1976, and was mentioned on-screen as having moved to live with an old friend. Bryant moved into a nursing home in Manchester, where she lived until her death.
