Margaret Weston

Dame Margaret Weston, DBE, FMA (born 7 March 1926) was the Director of the Science Museum, London, UK.
Margaret Weston spent much if her life at the Science Museum in London, rising to Director at the end of her career from 1973 to 1986, succeeding Sir David Follett. She was instrumental in establishing the National Museum of Photography, Film and Television (now the National Media Museum) in Bradford during the early 1980s.
Weston was appointed a Dame of the British Empire (DBE). She was also a Fellow of the Museums Association (FMA).
