Margaret Skeete

Margaret Skeete (October 27, 1878 – May 7, 1994) was the oldest living American from 1993 to 1994. She is the oldest person to live in Texas. She was 115 years and 192 days old at the time of her death and is the 14th oldest person ever as of August 2006.

Margaret Skeete was born in Rockport. She is recorded in the 1880 census as a 2-year-old. She married Renn Skeete. She later moved to Radford, where she died in 1994, after suffering a fall.
