Margaret Sayers Peden

Margaret Sayers Peden, a Missouri native currently in her 80s, returned to college to obtain her graduate degrees in later life. Her PhD is from the University of Missouri--Columbia, where she remained as a Professor, teaching Spanish, Spanish American literature, and Translation/Interpretation at UMC for several decades. She is currently Professor Emeritus. She has translated more than 30 books and has one numerous prizes and grants because of her outstanding work. She continues to reside in Columbia, Missouri, and can be reached through the Department of Romance Languages at UMC.
