Margaret Angele Russell is the current editor-in-chief of ELLE Décor magazine, an office she has held since July 2000. She is originally from New Canaan, Connecticut and graduated from Brown University. Before working at ELLE Décor, she was a real estate sales associate at the J.W. Mays Company in New York City. She is one of the design judges on the Bravo reality television show Top Design.

Russell married construction supply analyst Stephen Barringer on April 30, 1988. [1]
