Margaret Matthews (born 5 August 1935) is an American athlete who competed mainly in the 100 meters.

She competed for United States in the 1956 Summer Olympics held in Melbourne, Australia in the 4 x 100 meters where she won the bronze medal with her teammates Mae Faggs, Wilma Rudolph and Isabelle Daniels.
