Marcus Siepen

Marcus Siepen, born September 8th 1968 in Krefeld, Germany, is one of two guitarists in the Power Metal band Blind Guardian. For the biggest percentage of Blind Guardian's songs, particularly in more recent years, he has almost strictly played rhythm guitar, with most lead and solo work being performed by André Olbrich. He has also made a far lesser contribution to the band's songwriting than Olbrich, who splits most of the writing with vocalist Hansi Kürsch.Marcus is divorced and has a son.
Along with Olbrich and Kürsch, Siepen has been a member of Blind Guardian since their formation in 1985.
In September 2004 Marcus broke his leg in four places while skateboarding.
