Marcus Patric

Marcus Patric (born Patrick Henry Gosling^[1], 17 August 1979, Portsmouth, England) is a British actor, best known for the role of Ben Davies in the British soap opera Hollyoaks and its spin-offs Hollyoaks: Let Loose and Hollyoaks: In the City.

In 2000 Channel Four ran a series entitled On The Pull, designed to find a new character for Hollyoaks by open audition. Patric was selected from a field of over 40,000 applicants. He used to date Sarah-Jayne Dunn who played Mandy in the same series.

After the Hollyoaks spin-off Let Loose in 2005, he appeared in further series of adventures between his character Ben and his girlfriend Lisa (Gemma Atkinson) called Hollyoaks: In The City (2006).

In September 2006, it was rumoured that Patric was involved in an affair with fellow In The City star, Claire King, best known as Kim Tate in the ITV soap, Emmerdale[1].

He is a supporter of Liverpool FC.
