[edit] History
Korolus was born in 136 in Rome. After becoming an Immortal he was mentored by fellow Immortal Gaius Septimus. Marcus lived his long life as a theatre actor and also mentored Immortal arts lover Walter Graham.
In the 1620s, Korolus was burned alive after being accused of witchcraft. The fact that it was the woman he loved, Lenora, who had betrayed him was to much for him to handle and Korolus became insane. As revenge, he murdered Lenora by cutting her scalp. From that moment on, he started killing in the same way several women who reminded Korolus of Lenora for being blonde like her.
In 1925, he was an actor in Seacouver at the Orpheum Theater, playing "Man and Superman". After ten women were mysteriously murdered by someone entitled "The Scalper", Duncan MacLeod started investigating the murders. He surprised Korolus who was about to kill another woman in the Orpheum Theater. Being a friend of Korolus', Duncan tried to persuade him to stop, but, realising Korolus was insane, he had no choice but to fight him. In the end, Duncan was victorious and Korolus lost his head.
Korolus legacy, however, would endure and in 1992, a new killer, dubbed himself "The Scalper" in Korolus' honor, who followed his steps, started killing women in the same places that Korolus had killed his victims. Once again, Duncan was the one to stop him. Despite killing his former mentor, Walter Graham was a friend of Duncan's, although it is unknown if Graham knew of that fact, or even if he had a good relationship with Korolus.
