Marcus Chong (born July 8, 1967 in Seattle, Washington) is rumored to be the adopted son of famous comedian Tommy Chong, of Cheech and Chong fame. Likewise his sister is rumored to be the actress Rae Dawn Chong. In the early 1990's he played lead character Miguel Mendez on the TV show Street Justice. He later appeared in the Vanishing Son action series as Fu Qua Johnson and has also played a biracial character of African American/Chinese descent in the TV series Law & Order: Special Victims Unit.
He has also starred as Tank in the critically acclaimed film The Matrix. The character was written out of the film's sequels after a dispute between Chong and the film's directors, Larry and Andy Wachowski, led to his firing. [1]
Marcus also starred as Huey P. Newton in the 1995 movie "Panther".
Chong's biological father has been a local newscaster in the Bay Area for many years.
