Marcus Burghardt

Marcus Burghardt (born June 30, 1983 in Zschopau, Germany) is a professional road bicycle racer, currently riding for UCI ProTour squad T-Mobile Team. He weighs 75 kg and is 1.89 metres tall.
Burghardt turned pro in 2005, having already raced as an amateur in the U-23 Wiesenhof team, with which he had already tasted success in the shape of the overall win at the Bundesliga Gerlingen in 2004. He has still to inaugurate his palmarès with T-Mobile but has performed well in some races such as the Dwars door Vlaanderen or some stages of the Vuelta a España.
