Marcus "Clanger" Allan (born May 23, 1986) is an Australian rules footballer in the Australian Football League.
He was recruited through the 2005 Rookie Draft from the Northern Eagles in Queensland. He was elevated to the Brisbane Lions senior list in 2006. He made his debut in the 2006 season and played well despite his side copping a flogging.
He is the son of Collingwood and Fitzroy player Graeme Allan, who is also the Brisbane Lions' Football Manager.
Marcus attended Gregory Terrace in Brisbane and was a mediocre sporting figure. It was during this time that he earned the nickname "Clanger", as a satirical reference to the amount of mistakes he made on the field.
