Marcin Baszczyński (born June 7, 1977 in Ruda Śląska) is a Polish footballer who plays for Wisła Kraków, with whom he won the Polish League Championship in 2000/01, 2002/03, 2003/04 and 2004/05, and for the Poland national football team.

He started to gain recognition after moving to Ruch Chorzów in 1995/96, playing his first game in July 1996.

Baszczyński has appeared 35 times for Poland, scoring once.

On January 22, 2006, West Ham United manager Alan Pardew took Baszczyński on trial with the hope of signing him permanently from Wisła Kraków for £1.5 million.

He was selected to the 23-men national squad for the 2006 FIFA World Cup finals held in Germany.
