Marcia Wallace (born November 1, 1942) is an actress from Creston, Iowa. She is a Delta Zeta alumna.

Wallace is best known for her roles as Carol Kester Bondurant, the receptionist for Bob Newhart (and dentist Jerry) on the 1972 television series The Bob Newhart Show, and as the voice of Edna Krabappel on the animated series The Simpsons, for which she won an Emmy in 1992.

She was an occasional celebrity panelist on Match Game and played "Mrs. Carruthers" in a few episodes of the ABC sitcom Full House. She also played the maid on the short-lived TV series That's My Bush!. She also played on Bewitched in episode 227 Laugh, Clown, Laugh, as Darrin's Secretary in 1971.

Wallace is a breast cancer survivor and activist who lectures on the subject [1]. January 27, 2007 Marcia won the Gilda Radner Courage Award from Roswell Park Cancer Institute for for helping educate Americans about the importance of early cancer detection and inspiring others through her 20 years as a breast cancer survivor.

Her book, "Don't Look Back We're Not Going That Way" a biography that shares her experiences of early detection of breast Cancer and her eventual loss of her beloved husband Denny to Cancer. Thousands of women who have heard and read her work have been enlightened to early detection. Marcia message is forthright, honest to the point of ouch and full of humor. Marcia always has had the gift of looking on the funny side she calls her book "Don't Look Back We're Not Going That Way …OR How I Survived a Rocky Childhood, Fat, a Nervous Breakdown, Breast Cancer, Widowhood, Fire, Menopausal Single Motherhood and Still Manage to count My Lucky Chickens!"
