Marcelo Pontiroli

Marcelo Fabián Pontiroli (born January 22, 1972 in San Andrés de Giles, Buenos Aires) is an Argentine football goalkeeper currently playing for Argentinos Juniors.
Pontiroli began his career in 1995 at Deportivo Español, before moving to Independiente in 1997.
In 1998 he moved to Argentinos Juniors for the first time, but he only stayed at the club until 2000.
Between 2000 and 2005 he played for Belgrano de Córdoba, Quilmes and Portugese side Varzim S.C..
In 2005 he made his return to Argentinos Juniors to take up the role of first choice goalkeeper.
