Marcella Humphrey

Marcella Humphrey (October 25, 1892 - November 21, 2004) was a supercentenarian and one of Michigan's oldest residents when she died. She was born in Brown Deer, Wisconsin and was a farm wife in Freeport, Michigan. She and her late husband, George Humphrey, raised 10 children. She attributed her long life to a daily bowl of oatmeal and keeping her stress levels down. She died at the age of 112 at Thornapple Manor nursing home in Hastings, Michigan. Nine of her ten children survive her.
