Marcel Witeczek

Marcel Witeczek,(born October 18, 1969) is a former German football player. Witeczek was already very successful in his youth and played already in the youth national team as a striker. With the German U17- team became it 1985 and with the U20- german team he was a runner up, in the 1987 FIFA World Youth Championships. Marcel won the Golden Shoe. However he never created thereafter the absolute break-through as a striker for the senior national german team. Marcel played from 1986 to 1992 for the KFC Uerdingen, which was called still Bavarian 05 Uerdingen at that time, in whose youth it had already played. Then Witeczek transferred for 2 years to the 1. FC Kaiserslautern and from there from to Bayern Munich, where it remained from 1993 to 1997 4 years. There he celebrated its largest successes: 1994 and 1997 German master as well as 1996 runners up, 1996 UEFA Cup winners. From 1997 to 2003 it played for Borussia Moenchengladbach and was there one the service provider. From 2004 to 2005 it left the career at the amateur crew SG cotton wool-separates 09 to end. Since the season 2006/07 it plays in Baden-Wuerttemberg with the FC Albstadt 07 in the national league and already obtained a national league gate.
