Marc Wootton

Marc Wootton is an English character comedian. He is perhaps best known for his role as fake medium and psychic, Shirley Ghostman on the BBC Three series, High Spirits with Shirley Ghostman.
Also starred in the comedy/gameshow My New Best Friend, where people had to convince their closest friends and relatives that the most awful of people (played by Wootton) are indeed their new best friends for a prize of £10,000.
He also played a small role in the 2006 wedding film Confetti as a best man, Snoopy.
Currently filming Frequently Asked Questions About Time Travel a comedy sci-fi film with Chris O'Dowd, Dean Lennox Kelly and Anna Faris.
Marc is from south east Hampshire, UK and attended Clanfield Middle School and Horndean Comprehensive between 1983 and 1991.
