He is attending Oaks Christian High School in Westlake Village, California, as a senior and has committed to the University of Southern California. Tyler is considered the 2nd best running back prospect in the U.S. behind fellow USC recruit Joe McKnight. At Oaks Christian HS, Tyler played alongside Jimmy Clausen, the nations #1 quarterback.
