Marc Picard

Marc Picard, born on April 25, 1955 in Saint-Raphaël (Bellechasse), is a politician in the province of Quebec, Canada. He currently represents the Chutes-de-la-Chaudière district at the National Assembly of Quebec and is a member of the ADQ.
Prior to being elected, he served as City Councillor in Lévis.
Picard was first elected as a Member of the National Assembly in 2003, with 39% of the vote. Liberal candidate Pauline Houde-Landry finished second with 33% of the vote.
In 2007, Picard was easily re-elected with 59% of the vote. PQ candidate and former Bloc Québécois member of the Canadian House of Commons, Yvan Loubier, finished second with 18% of the vote.
