Marc Maiffret was the co-founder of eEye Digital Security along with Firas Bushnaq, and currently serves in the dual role of Chief Technology Officer and Chief Hacking Officer, where he is responsible for both high-level product strategy, as well as setting the eEye research agenda.
eEye originally coined the title "Chief Hacking Officer" to describe Mr. Maiffret's role in leading eEye’s product development and vulnerability research efforts. Marc Maiffret is quoted regularly in the media and regarded as an industry expert regarding network security issues. Additionally, he has testified before Congress on several occasions regarding the state of computer security. Mr. Maiffret’s role in vulnerability research, education and product innovation has been reflected in the numerous awards and distinguishments that eEye Digital Security continuously receives.
