Marañón Province

The Marañón Province is a province located in the Huánuco Region of Peru. It is one of the eleven that make up that region.

The province extends over an area of 4,801.50 square kilometers and is divided into three districts:
- Hucrachuco
- Cholón
- San Buenaventura

The province has a population of 23,000 inhabitants as of 2002.

The capital of this province is the city of Huacrachuco.
