This is the partial list of several Marathi Poets over the centuries. Marathi language is quite rich in its poetic culture too. The oldest of the poets is Shri Chakradhar Swami, who started Mahanubhav panth in the 11th-12th Century. He was followed by (Saint) Sant Dnyaneshwar in the 13th century.
