BRIGADOON: marin & μελαν (ブリガドーン まりんとメラン) is an anime produced by Sunrise that ran from 2000-2001, and was adapted as a manga by Nozomi Watase. It took place in 1969 and was about an orphan girl named Marin Asagi who befriends an alien being called Melan Blue.
